Link Voces with Your Learning Management System (LMS)

To link with Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, or Microsoft Teams:

  1. Before you can proceed, your school's LMS administrator must complete a quick configuration. It should take less than 5 minutes. Please send your administrators to https://ed.link/integrate/864a3431-88a6-428f-a32d-62943c14d521. If they have any questions, please ask them to email LMS@vocesdigital.com.
  2. Once that configuration is complete, you can access Voces using your LMS. To start, click "Login."
  3. On the right side of the login page, click on the icon for your LMS.
  4. Select your LMS account.
  5. If this is your first time logging in with your LMS, it will prompt you to authorize the connection.
  6. Enter your Class ID and User ID.
  7. Your account is now linked!

Once you have linked with your LMS, here is what you will be able to do:

  • Sync classes (best used when first setting up). This will bring over the information from your LMS and create classes and students within Voces. If students are already added to Voces and have completed assignments, use the Match option.
  • Log in to Voces as a teacher or student using LMS accounts.
    • For student log in, they must be created or linked first.
    • Note: Students can log in with either their Voces ID or LMS account.

  • Sync assignments to LMS.
  • Create an assignment and it will appear in the LMS as well.
  • Assignments with a future start date will be saved as a draft in the LMS.
  • Student individualization is not supported with all LMSs, so all assignment details will be applied to the entire class.
  • If the LMS does support student-specific assigning, those details can be changed in the LMS after creating the assignment in Voces.
  • Editing an assignment will sync any date or class changes within the LMS.
  • Deleting an assignment in Voces DOES NOT delete the assignment in the LMS, and vice versa.
  • Grades are synced manually from the gradebook page.
  • After generating a report, the LMS sync button appears.
  • Once clicked, all grades on the report will be transferred to the LMS. If any grades have changed since the last sync, the new grade will be sent.
  • Note: Currently syncing is only supported for the "Detailed List" style of report.
